We are looking forward to a fun and educational experience on the Eighth grade Washington D.C. trip! The trip generally takes place during spring break in April. Our itinerary might include The National Zoo, the White House, the Holocaust Museum, Washington Monument, and present a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier!!! Our trip will include a side trip to EITHER New York, Philadelphia or Williamsburg (to be decided soon). We stay in a great hotel, have professional tour guides, and return Wednesday night of the April Spring break. See history come alive! For more information about this year's trip, see Mr. Smith's Washington D.C. page.
You can also visit www.worldstrides.com for more information. The student section of this website includes a virtual tour and other graphics, but it's confusing to find information there. See the Parent Place, which is better, even for students — it includes a sample itinerary, the virtual tour, packing lists, safety and security, and other useful information for both you and your parents. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Smith at (650) 917-2239 or by e-mail.
