Welcome to Mr. Schneider's Science, Room 24
I would like to welcome all parents and students to my science class this year.
Overview
My name is Curtis Schneider and I have been teaching science at Egan since September 2001. Prior to coming to Egan, I taught at Sunnyvale Middle School for 20 years. My passion is teaching middle school science! Besides this web portal, I also have my own website separate from Egan. Please visit Curt's Human Disease Website. There is a link to an assignment calendar clearly marked on the home page so you can check your son or daughter's science homework assignments on a regular basis, as well as find links to worksheets, electronic assignments and more.
The Class
Seventh graders will be learning about the scientific method, select systems of the human body, cells, genetics, evolution and light. Students will conduct many labs during the year. How to Contact Me
My classroom phone number is 650- 917-2243. Call any time of day or night to leave a voice mail. A good time to call is during my prep period, which is 7th period this year. Email is also a great way for students and parents to keep in touch with me; I check it daily, including weekends, and now that I have an iPhone, pretty much all the time!
