Parents support Egan through two main vehicles, contributing to Egan PTA's Direct Ask (where you can also join the PTA) and Los Altos Education Foundation (LAEF). DIRECT ASK
Financial support from families is critical to Egan's success. Egan’s PTA has one fundraiser which asks families for a voluntary financial contribution, the “Direct Ask”. Direct Ask proceeds go straight to Egan students, funding 100% of all technology used by our students (laptops, iPads, etc.), as well as science, core and elective program materials. The PTA also makes campus improvements and supports Egan's awesome teachers and staff. Unlike local elementary schools, Egan does not have walk-a-thons or auctions - the Direct Ask is it. Donations in any amount are appreciated. To contribute to the Direct Ask (or join the PTA), click here. Donations are tax deductible. The PTA won't ask you for a donation aside from the Direct Ask, so please give generously! Thank you!
CORPORATE MATCHING
With corporate matching, you can easily double your donation to our school! Typically, forms for employer corporate matching can be found on your company's intranet site or obtained from your company's Human Resources department. The Egan PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The PTA's federal tax id is 77-0021356; donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. If you need a receipt for any donation, please email egan.financial.secretary@gmail.com.
ESCRIP
The eScrip program allows you to contribute to the Egan PTA automatically, at no cost to you, just by shopping as you normally would!
With eScrip, you register your debit and credit cards, and name Egan as a recipient of your contributions. Once registered, any purchase you make at participating retailers automatically contributes a percentage to the Egan PTA. (Note: as of November 2013, Safeway will only donate for purchases made with cash, checks, debit cards, and gift cards.) Your purchases are tracked automatically by the program, and you can go online anytime to check your account and see how much money you are earning on your child's behalf!
Enroll Online or change your beneficiary school to Egan. Our group name is Egan Intermediate School. From there, you can find specific links to become a new member, renew your membership, or change your account to include “Egan” as a recipient.
Please note: If you already support another group such as an elementary school and would like to continue doing so, you can add Egan as an additional recipient. (You can support up to three “groups” simultaneously and designate what percentage of your contribution goes to which group.)

The Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) works to raise funds and to provide financial support as a supplement to the resources of the Los Altos School District for the purpose of funding academic and enrichment programs, and improving the overall education of students in the schools of the Los Altos School District.
