The Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) is a catalyst for educational excellence.

LAEF is a non-profit organization that raises funds from parents, the community, and corporate matching funds to bring essential programs to students in the Los Altos School District (LASD). The money LAEF raises this school year will fund teachers and staff for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Wellness, Literacy, and Arts for every student at all nine LASD schools.

LASD is one of the top-ranked school districts in California. However, public funds and local taxes fall short of covering LASD’s budget. LAEF helps bridge this funding gap. LAEF’s goal for the 2023-24 school year is to raise $2.9M and our suggested donation is $1,400 per student. We strive for 100% participation from all of our LASD families. We welcome and encourage gifts of any amount. Thank you!
