My name is Hoang Truong. I was born in Vietnam and raised in San Jose. I moved and lived in Chicago for several years and decided to return back to the bay area. I have been working in the education field as a teacher teaching several levels including community college, vocational school, high school and junior high. After exploring the different levels, I found my calling for 7th grade science. I received my BS in Biology from UC Davis in 1998. I went on to further my education and received my Master of Education at UOP. I will forever strive to be a lifelong learner and continue to educate myself through various programs both district and college driven. I am the proud mother of a 5 year old boy. My son, Nathan, is an amazing young boy and a student at Santa Rita. I am the youngest of 6, having three older brothers and two sisters all living in San Jose as well.
