The one thing I knew about myself while growing up is that I loved kids. They are so real with you - so smart, resilient, forgiving and hilarious. Since my first job as a gymnastics teacher, I have also come to love the creative process of teaching. I am an Egan and Los Altos High graduate, and I am so honored to be part of my community as an Egan teacher. I did not know that I was capable of teaching junior high students, let alone physical education, but I am enjoying it all. I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology. I currently have a Multiple Subject credential with a supplemental in Science, a credential in Physical Education, and a Masters in Education from San Jose State University. As long as the sun is out, I love to be active outside listening to music, exercising, gardening and taking photos.
