She has about 15 years experience teaching Spanish in the classroom and has taught private individual and small group lessons in Spanish for about 30 years. She has also been a Spanish tutor for about 30 years. She taught middle school and high school Spanish at Castilleja, Palo Alto, and at The Field School, Washington, DC. She taught high school Spanish at Marymount High School, Santa Monica, and in Fairfax County Public Schools, in the DC Suburbs of Virginia. She taught college-level Spanish I at The University Of Texas at Austin; Spanish Conversation Classes at Adult & Community Education, San Antonio Independent School District, Texas; and taught at an Elementary School Spanish Summer Program in the North Shore Suburbs of Chicago.
