Egan Jr High School

A student athlete must attend at least a half-day of classes to be eligible for tryouts, practices or games. If a student does not attend at least a half-day of classes, he/she will be prohibited from participating on the respective day(s). Similarly, a student who has been excused from his or her PE class will be prohibited from participating in a tryout, practice or game on the respective day(s).

If a student athlete quits a team or is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, he/she will be prohibited from participating in the next sports season.

A student who does not meet the above requirements will be deemed ineligible. A student may appeal his/her ineligibility by writing a letter of appeal to the Athletics Board. Upon review and approval, the student may be reinstated.
