Happy Thursday, Egan Families!
We have some fun things happening on campus as we head into the end of this week and look ahead to next!
Our First School Dance is Tomorrow!
We are excited to see our students come out and have some fun! The dance will be held from 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Tickets have been sold during lunch all week, and Friday at lunch is the last opportunity to purchase a ticket. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
A few important reminders for students and families:
- Students must be in attendance at school on Friday in order to attend the dance that evening. Students who are absent from school on Friday will not be able to attend the dance.
- Students must bring their Egan school ID to enter the dance.
- Phones are not permitted at the dance.
- Once students enter the dance, they are expected to remain until it ends at 7:30 p.m. Students will not be permitted to leave early.
- Please make arrangements to pick up your student promptly at 7:30 p.m.
Spirit Week is Coming!
Next week is Spirit Week, so get ready for your student to show up with pride and show their Viking spirit! We’ll have some fun throughout the week and wrap it all up on Friday with one of our favorite Egan traditions — PJs & Pancakes!
Students should arrive at school at their regularly scheduled time on Friday, and we’ll kick off the day by serving pancakes to all of our students. Pajamas, pancakes, and Viking spirit — a pretty great way to end the week!
Yosemite Countdown
We have some wonderful news to share! Our 8th grade Yosemite trip is now fully funded!
Thanks to the generosity of our Egan families—and an incredibly generous family who stepped forward to close the remaining funding gap—we have reached our goal for this year’s trip.
We are so grateful to every family who contributed, whether large or small. Your collective generosity is what makes this special Egan tradition possible for our students. We can’t thank our community enough for coming together to support this experience.
Yosemite, here we come!
As you begin getting your 8th grader ready, please take another look at the packing list and trip information that was recently emailed home. Students will need hiking boots, and we have boots available in the office for any student who needs to borrow a pair. Checking the packing list now will help make sure everyone is ready when it’s time to head to Yosemite!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our students and our Egan community.
Go Vikings!
